JillBANKS(née Palethorpe) Passed away at home on 3rd September 2025 aged 92 years.

Service to be held at St Margaret's Church, Beswick on Thursday 25th September at 12.30pm, followed by private burial in the churchyard.

No flowers please. Donations in Jill's memory will be gratefully received for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

I first met Jill when I was 8 and now at 76 she remains one of the driving forces in my life. She was the reason I show jumped, the reason I strove to improve in my riding. She was also there for me when I was going through divorce offering me somewhere to live & getting Tiggy to renovate a cottage for me. Too many wonderful memories from Nafferton, Coventry and Aike. I am so pleased I got to see her when travelling over from Ireland last spring. Gone but she has left an indelible mark in my life.
